General Information

  • RSSY makes every effort to maintain an adequate supply on the yard at all times.
  • Stone is generally packaged in 1 ton baskets, but can be packaged in 1 ½ ton basket upon request.
  • As you may know, color inconsistency is a strong characteristic of natural building stone. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase all of the stone you will need for a particular project at one time.
  • Please be aware the some stones are not available in thin veneer and/ or flagging. Also, most natural stones do not produce flat edges.
  • RSSY is not responsible for freight delivery or delivery problems. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the merchandise upon delivery. If damage has occurred, it is the customer’s duty to contact us before signing for the merchandise.
  • RSSY is not responsible for installed materials.

Harvested in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the Carolina Collection is a group of natural stone products with 10 distinct colors offered in 4 styles (or cuts), making it easy to compare and choose the perfect stone for your project. The products in this collection are also available in medium or full-bed thickness, as well as landscape products such as flagstone and decorative boulders.

A bi-color gray stone running the range of dark gray with a lot of brown shading to an almost white-gray with very little brown. Our most popular stone. We highly recommend that you purchase all of this stone you will need for the entire project due to the considerable variation in color. Hand-Split Thin Veneer ranges in thickness from 1" to 3" with a nominal face range of 6" to 18". Average coverage is approximately 100 to 110 square feet per ton. Greatly resembles Swiss Sparkle, although considerably smoother in texture. Hand-Split Thin Veneer ranges in thickness from 1" to 3" with a nominal face range of 6" to 18".
